Well, how and when do you start a story like this, I guess it started when we moved to Dumfries and Galloway in South-West Scotland in May 2016. Richard had just finished at Uni and this is where the work was, so off we went to Bonny Scotland!
We settled into life in the lovely harbour town of Kirkcudbright. It was idyllic really, with a small-town community feel, a great ‘Mums and Tots’ group for Keira and the kids and only a 15-minute commute into the office, it all seemed perfect. However, as time went on, we started to feel like this place wasn’t for us, and we were becoming increasingly unsettled at the prospect of sticking around long-term.
So, in October 2018 we decided that it was time for a change, But where and what do we do? The fact is we didn’t know where to go, or what to do, so we did what any normal family with 2 young kid’s and a crazy Labrador do, we decided to sell up, buy a motorhome and travel Europe.
