Parking
Car parking at Cow Bridge Car Park. It’s a ‘free’ but please provide a donation sort of set up for the parking. So technically you don’t have to pay, but we know that the money gets used for looking after the Lake District and keeping it a nice place for visitors. So because of this, we are happy to contribute.

Our Visit:
We absolutely love being near water, but Lakes are our absolute favourite. This small little gem is a great find, as the walk along it is completely pram friendly! There is a lovely patch at the beginning of the walk where we stopped to let the kids throw stones in the water, which just so happens to be one of their favourite things to do! Further along the walk we let the kids let off some steam running around on the grass alongside the water’s edge.
You carry on this walk until you reach Sykeside campsite, and then your return the way you came. But it’s up to you how far you walk, it’s not always about getting the steps in. If you’d rather spend time playing near the water, then you do that! There are no rules when it comes to spending time outdoors.
