Our Visit:
Another walk we found on the Lake District National Park Website – in their Miles Without Stiles Section. Dubwath Silver Meadows Nature Reserveis small in size, but makes for a nice easy morning stroll with the kids. Nothing too strenuous, so no moaning and anywhere with a boardwalk always seems to go down a treat with them! We were even lucky enough to spot a red squirrel on our visit. They have a little hut with a wildlife sighting list, so we made sure to jot down our find from the day.
If you are in the North Lakes area near Keswick then this is definitely worth a visit as part of your day, but you would want to combine it with something else for a proper day out if you are coming for a little further afield.
