Parking
We parked at Great Wood National Trust Car Park (CA12 5UP). Very Spacious, several motorhomes and campervans.
Our Visit:
After failing to park at Kettlewell Car Park slightly further south, we managed to find a parking spot here and decided to spend the morning on the small 2 mile loop around Great Wood, starting from the left-hand side of the car park.
As you climb upwards, head left uphill somewhat more to catch a good viewpoint of the Lake and Keswick, before turning back on yourself and following the loop round.
