Despite our slightly bewildering experience entering the country (getting stopped by border control), Switzerland was absolutely beautiful and we really enjoyed our time here. The mountaneous scenery and the crystal clear turquoise waters of Lake Thun and Lake Brienz were absolutely mesmerising. You really could just sit and stare at the Lake all day long, although perhaps not for those of us with little kids to watch. But isn’t that what the eyes in the back of our heads are for?
